How Product Verification Works

Quality is our top priority. Every software submission undergoes a quick but rigorous validation check by the FindAlternate team to keep spam, broken links, and duplicate entries off the platform.

What We Check During Verification

• Domain Authority & Safety: We ensure the link leads to a safe, secure HTTPS landing page. Landing pages under construction, affiliate redirects, or malware-infected sites are rejected.
• No Duplicate Listings: The product must not already exist in the database (we query the domain and exact matches during submission).
• Proper Categorization: We double-check that the tool matches the selected category (e.g. not putting a text editor in "Cybersecurity").
• Formatting & Typography: Title and descriptions must not contain excessive caps, emoji stuffing, or marketing fluff like "Best software ever!!!".

Timeline

Most submissions are verified within 24 to 48 hours. Once verified, you will receive a notification in your profile dashboard, your submission will go public, and your 100 reward points will be unlocked.
