Terms of Service

By accessing or using FindAlternate (the "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Platform.

To access certain features of the Platform (such as bookmarking, liking, reporting, or submitting alternatives), you must authenticate using our supported social login providers. You agree to maintain the security of your authentication details and immediately notify us of any unauthorized activity.

FindAlternate features an interactive user reward points system ("Points"). Points are awarded based on contribution quality, such as suggesting verified alternatives or reporting stale data. Points have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are non-transferable. We reserve the right to audit, adjust, or forfeit your Points balance at our discretion if spam or abusive behaviors are detected.

When you suggest or submit a product alternative, description, tags, pricing info, or compatibility metrics, you grant FindAlternate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit your content, and that it does not violate any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights. Product logos and favicons displayed on the Platform belong to their respective trademark owners and are retrieved for illustrative purposes via third-party APIs.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Submit inaccurate, misleading, or duplicate product alternatives.
• Incite artificial voting or manipulation via fake likes, accounts, or coordinate bookmark rings.
• Scrape or extract product directories or comparison sheets using automated scripts without express permission.
• Spam the report option to suppress competing products or alternatives.

FindAlternate provides paid dashboard and sidebar placements ("Promotions"). Billing is processed securely through Stripe. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and agree to pay all charges associated with your selected placement dates.

All purchased promotional placements are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable consumer law. We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or reschedule sponsored listings that violate our design guidelines, contain inappropriate materials, or point to broken domains.

The comparison lists, user ratings, pricing structures, and product data on FindAlternate are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of alternative comparisons or sponsored placements.

In no event shall FindAlternate, its directors, or affiliates be liable for any damages (including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Platform, even if notified of the possibility of such damage.
